Off on our travels again!!!

21st to 23rd April 2006

Unfortunately we were unable to do the Giant Sleepover in 2006 – we are registered for 2007 – but that did not stop us having another great sleepover.

We stayed in the hut as usual for the weekend – Friday being the norm for cub scouts and leaders NO SLEEP!.

Saturday saw us getting ready to go on a trip to
Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm just outside Bristol.
What a lovely place it is –
a safe environment, lots to do and fun and educational as well.

Saturday evening to save us cooking we sent Chil to Cookley for the fish/nugget/sausage and chips (previously ordered). The usual games followed and then bed and a good nights sleep for one and all.

Sunday was St George’s Day parade so we packed them into the group mini bus and went into Kidderminster for the parade. On our return we despatched them to their parents – had a quick tidy up and went home for a well earned rest.
